此片是一部非常独特， 感性， 和主观的纪录片。 非常个人化， 似乎是一个老人的怀旧篇。 影片一开始就把观众带到一位老人非常富有磁性的声音， 似乎很世故， 但是不乏许多睿智， 深度， 洞察， 和英国人的幽默。 我想像是在一个古老的院子里面，促膝和这位老人，丫着一口茶， 和他翻看着一本关于生他， 养他的城市- 利物浦的变迁影集。听着他的声音， 感受着利物浦这座城市随着时间的迁移的巨变， 房子拆了又建， 建了又拆， 城市的发展是这样周而复始， 人生也是这样周而复始， 生活在城市的人们也是这要周而复始。。。。。
